For the Rider
for you & your horse
Quite often, a horse and rider will influence each other through the imbalances in their bodies. If your seat bones are uneven in your saddle, you’re possibly causing your pelvis and spine to tilt. The difference in pressure will ask your horse to bend and lift his back asymmetrically, creating torsion in his body. Over time, his fascia will restrict and lead to training difficulties. Horses teach us to become aware of ourselves.
Releasing the fascia and stretching and developing the musculature leads to an enormous improvement of your health and to a straighter posture in the long run. Our balance improves, physically as well as mentally-emotionally. These are important prerequisites for harmonious relationships, mutual respect, independence, and mental flexibility. By working on our good posture in general, off the horse, and by working on our health issues, we can give our horse training new impulses. Finally, our asymmetries will gradually decrease more and more.
As a rider, you should consider booking your own Swedish Fascia Vibes myofascial release session. Doing so will benefit both you and your horse!

Does my Vet need to be involved?
Yes, under the requirements of The Veterinary Act 1966, any Equine Therapist will need permission to proceed from the client’s veterinarian prior to a session.
What will I need to do, and what do I need to prepare?
If you could ensure that your horse is clean and dry and that he/she is housed in a suitable clean and dry area. If you could also have to hand, a note of recent health checks such as when the farrier and dentist last checked your horse.
My horse has a number of problems with his feet, saddle and movement, will you help with all of that?
I appreciate the inter-linkage between all other health professionals. Sometimes a team effort is required to restore optimum health for the individual concerned. Communication between any of the following is important – veterinarian, farrier, trainer/instructor, groom/yard manager, physiotherapist, chiropractor, nutritionist, saddler & any other professional involved.
Are you insured?
Yes, I hold a comprehensive insurance policy.
